For installations where mechanical fixing is not possible this wheel stop adhesive is a great way to secure Park-it branded wheel stops in position. It can be used on tarmac, concrete, and even block paving. If using this adhesive with block paving it is worth keeping in mind that the blocks may lift if the ramp is pulled upward.
The material is dark grey in colour (RAL colour code 7021) and comes supplied as a 17.2kg bag of activator with a 5kg binding material, 12kg of Quartz sand and 0.2kg hardener. This special adhesive is fast curing and very durable.
When installing we recommend a 3mm thick layer of adhesive is used, at this coverage you will use 4.5kg of material per m², approximately 4m² per 17.2kg kit. This means this kit contains enough material for 14 1800mm Parkits, or 28 900mm Parkits. If you are applying this on very smooth or polished surfaces it is recommended that a test patch is carried out beforehand to test adhesion.
