This kit bundles together an A2 M8 bolt, washer, and nut (the most popular fixings for signs) making it quick and easy to get everything you need in one go. This kit is designed for use with road signs, site boards, safety signs, and other permanent outdoor fixtures where the durability of stainless steel is essential.
The bolt, washer & nut set consists of;
- 1 x M8 Square Head Bolt
- 1 x M8 Washer
- 1 x Choice of (A2) Nyloc Nut or (A4-80) Regular Nut
Made from marine-grade stainless steel for maximum rust resistance — the same quality used on highways and in coastal areas. Nyloc nuts give extra grip in high-vibration spots, thanks to their nylon insert, while standard nuts rely on thread friction. Nylocs are usually single-use and not suited to extreme heat or harsh chemicals.
Not sure how many sets you need of what? This is completely dictated by the type of post-mounted sign being used, as well as the fixing method (de-clip, z-clip, etc.) but you’ll usually want two to four sets (one or two per rail) to prevent twisting and to keep everything secure.
