ST Thermoplastic Primer HiTack Clear - 750ml
Perfect for small applications of thermoplastic markings, this clear Thermoplastic primer should be used prior to application of the markings to maximise adhesion. This product can be accurately applied using the spray nozzle on the top cap allowing you to minimise excess product used at one time.
This product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored correctly in a cool, dry place, optimal storage temperature is between 10°C - 20°C. Once opened the primer should be used within 6 months of the original opening date.
Before using the primer it is important to correctly clean and prepare your surfaces to allow the primer to perform as its intended. Preparation of the surface is key to the performance of the HiTack primer as a dirty surface will not allow for the same performance as a clean, well-prepared surface.
The primer should be applied at a rate between 200ml/m² to 400ml/m² depending on the density and porosity of the substrate. In any case, continue applying the primer until saturation occurs to obtain a thin continuous resin film. For extremely porous substrates you may need to apply a second coat for it to be fully effective.
